Hiking starting point in Schladming

Directly from Schladming you can start with the hiking bus or by foot to the popular hiking destinations. In the immediate vicinity of the hotels there is the valley station of the Planai cable car. Here you can enjoy the mountain summer on 1800 m in many facets.

Hike or leisurely walk in the middle of nature. The “Hopsiland” is especially interesting for families. The 1.5 km long pram-suited round trip at the mountain station with ball track, climbing towers and many other stations is a true kids paradise.

A  destination for athletic hikers is the “Hochwurzen Höhenweg” to the “Ursprungalm” or the challenging “Klafferkessel Runde”. The multi-hour tours take you to the most beautiful places in the high alpine terrain of the Schladminger Tauern. Especially the circular hiking trails on the Reiteralm to the picturesque “Spiegelsee” – “Mirror lake”, the themed path Wild Water to the Riesachsee or the beautiful Obertal fascinate hikers again and again.
